⭐️Weight Loss-Tips⭐️
- Whatever you prepare yourself to eat, cut it in half.
- Have a weight loss/ana buddy to talk to when you’re struggling and/or want to eat. They do the same.
- Make your food extremely hot so you need water and it takes longer to eat.
- Eat spicy food so you drink a lot of water and get full quicker.
- Suck on/eat ice.
- Vague, but go vegan.
- While you’re eating, look at thinspo.
- Take two gulps of water in between bites.
- Drink atleast 1 bottle of water with every meal.
- Eat “safe foods”.
- Make substitutions. Ex: fries->veggies or sweets->fruits
- Eat soups, and oatmeals instead of solid foods.
- Drink tea or 0 cal flavored water.
- Instead of red meats, eat fish and chicken.
- Put your eating utensil down in between bites.
- Take a nap~ sleep the craving away.
- Write down what you eat and how it makes you feel throughout your day. (Helps keep track of how much you eat when you’re not paying attention).
- Distract yourself with movies, going on a run, watching YouTube, reading, listening to an audio book, or painting your nails.
- Take baths.
- Cook your food with love, effort, music, and take your time.
- Write in a diary what you wish to gain when you reach your UGW.
- Chew gum, suck on mints.
- Use smaller plates. It’s weird but it makes you wanna eat less.
- Stick to cool tones such as blue, white, and grey. Not yellow or red. (When choosing your plates, etc.) McDonalds advertises with those colors bc apparently they make you hungry.
- Think things such as “I’m in control”, “I’ve tasted this before”, “It’s just a taste”, “I will regret this later”, “Work for it”, “So easy, all I have to do is nothing”.
- Sit and look at the food for as long as it takes and just know you won’t eat it.
- Count to 3 to go through motions. Ex: if you’re at the fridge ‘ I’m going to walk away in 1..2..3’ then just do it on command- doesn’t work for everyone.
- Think of a boy/girl you like.
- Look at clothes you want when you reach your goal.
- Look at your body.
- Watch yourself eat in a mirror/your phone.
- Think of the fact that you’re making progress and you’ll get there. Nobody said it would be easy.
